| Health Informatics Consultant |
|
The HI Consultant is responsible for the implementation of MedShare technology solutions within home health care agencies in Canada. The Consultant will understand the business of home care and how MedShare’s solution transforms paper-based processes into efficient and effective electronic processes. The Consultant will manage project delivery through written plans, verbal communication, making frequent presentations and facilitating meetings and workshops. Success in this role is measured by budget, deadlines, adoption and achieving economic benefits.

Take the leadership role through all phases of the implementation software implementation |
 |
Point of contact between technology team and business team |
 |
Manage customer issues and project risks |
 |
Manage budget and timelines |
 |
Post implementation review |
 |
Other duties required to support customer software implementations |
| |
Duties |
 |
Create documents as necessary for project success (eg Project Charter) |
 |
Document customer expectations, goal and key performance indicators |
 |
Model the customer’s business processes and clinical workflows support team members |
 |
Delivery Fit to Business and Gap Analysis |
 |
Propose and implement optimized business processes that leverage MedShare software |
 |
Provide Application training as it pertains to work flows and processes |

| Desirable Skills |

Knowledge of the Canadian home and community care sector |
 |
Technical skills including LAN/WAN environments and SQL server |
 |
Knowledge of wireless technologies and devices, specifically BlackBerry |

| Qualifications |
 |
Minimum of 5 years experience in the IT software industry |
 |
Minimum of 2 years experience as a project leader (PMP is best) |
 |
Degree in Computer Science, Health Science or related credential |
 |
Must have an overall knowledge of the Canadian healthcare industry |
