MedShare is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and ensuring the security of their personal information. MedShare adheres to all applicable privacy legislation, including the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

MedShare’s Privacy program ensures that it upholds our values respecting personal privacy. Our privacy program’s policies and procedures are based on the 10 privacy principles of the Canadian Standards Association’s Model Code for the Protection of Personal Information.

Our Solutions
MedShare’s solutions are designed to share information, including but not limited to personal health information, with home care providers in the community. Throughout our product development, we endeavor to ensure that privacy and security protections are built in to the software and workflows that it enables. Our permission-based access model is employed throughout our product suite to ensure that private information is only available to authorized persons for only as long as is necessary to provide the designated service.

Our policies ensure that personal information is treated with respect and prudence and is disposed of in a secure manner when no longer required to perform our duties.
